The Saddle Hotel & Grill is a small friendly family run business.
Please dont come here looking for the Ritz as that is not what we do here, we only look to offer reasonably priced food and accommodation with a homely atmosphere and good friendly service.
Our rooms are not suites but are cosy and comfortable all the same and we try our very best to make your stay with us as enjoyable as it can be.Located in the sea side village of Alnmouth, in the heart of the beautiful northumberian countryside.
Only 4 miles from the A1 and situated in an ideal location to visit all the northeast has to offer.
Within a ten mile radius you will find Alnwick Castle and their famous gardens, Warkworth Castle and some of the most amazing coast line in England, plus so much more.
We are open all year round excluding Christmas day and serve food daily from 12-2pm and 6-9pm.
We have a hugh selction of delicious home cooked food on offer in our cosy lounges and restaurants, including a non smoking area too.
Recommended by the Good pub guide and Which? guide to country pubs for excellent food and very reasonable prices too.We have just finished putting in a small residents car park as well to accommodate our guests, situated at the back of the hotel

Directions
By Car: Travelling North or South on the A1, take the Alnwick turn off and follow the road to the first round about, take the exit sign posted Alnmouth, then follow that road straight to Alnmouth for 3 miles and we are located on the right hand side of the main street. Alternatively if travelling already on the coastal route continue on past Warkworth until reaching a place called Hipsburn where at the round about turn left and Alnmouth is half a mile up the road. By Train: Alnmouth station is located exactly 1 mile from us in Alnmouth, with buses running regularly every hour and taxi services available or alternatively just give us a call and we can try and pick you up, obviously this is more difficult to do so if its at busy times etc. but we will always try our best if of course you actually ask us and not assume. Cancellation Deadline
Please note that we do not take any form of deposit, we only take the card details to secure the booking. Full payment of your reservation must be made on departure. If you were to cancel your booking there will be a £20 per person cancelation charge. We would however not make any charge to you if you were to rearrange the booking for a more convenient time that would suite you.
