Constructed in 1874 is a fine example of a Victorian Tudor-style Country House. In the oak panelled reception halls you will find crackling log fires in open hearths creating a unique atmosphere. Many of the bedrooms have balconies and exceptional view of the spring-fed lake

Our cuisine is of the finest quality and can be enjoyed in our 2AA Rosette Lakeside Restaurant,admiring the swans and the rest of bird life. Every Friday and Saturday dinner and Sunday Luch there is a pianist or harpist to entertain diners.(dress code smart casual, no jeans or trainers please)

The Springs is situated on the edge of the village of North Stoke near Wallingford in Oxfordshire. It is 15 miles southeast of Oxford and 12.5 miles northwest of Reading.Via the M40 motorway leave junction 6 and join the B4009 towards Watlington follow signs for Benson and Wallingford. In Benson turn right and inmediately past the War Memorial when reaching the main road (A4079) turn left towards Wallingford and Reading. At the Crowmarsh Gifford roundabout take the first exit marked A4074 to Reading.Go straight ahead over the next roundabout and within 200 yards turn right onto the B4009 to GoringThe Springs Hotel is about one mile futher on the right hand side.
