Allison and Ben Christie took over The Bear in May 2007 and have refurbished the large function room and restaurant. The building has the enticing character of a bygone age whilst providing the comforts and amenities of the 21st century To make your visit even more special there is a friendly ghost called Jasper and a former Bear Pit with secret passages leading to the village church and Hodnet Hall. There is a traditional bar with log fires, a restaurant, and 8 en-suite bedrooms designed for your comfort and relaxation.
