Stretton Hall is an elegant period house at the heart of a quiet village in the beautiful South Shropshire countryside, a mile North of the small town of Church Stretton.
The building itself, formerly a substantial private house known as All Stretton Hall, is Georgian and many of its original features - windows, fireplaces and oak-panelling - have been retained.
The atmosphere and interiors, however, are far from dated.
The restaurant and bedrooms are furnished with modern fabrics in clear refreshing tones, everywhere complemented by fresh flowers.
Classic designs keep a neat and simple feel throughout, and there are many careful touches to add individual style and comfort.
Stretton Hall is a three-star hotel and standards are high in every area, but this does not mean that the atmosphere is especially formal.
The hotel is owned and run by a young family, who pride themselves on quality, flexibility, value for money and extra care for the special preferences of their individual guests.
