Ideally situated away from the traffic, yet only half a mile from the heart of the city. Enjoy the delicious breakfasts which offers something to suit everyone?s tastes, including vegetarian options

There is a large walled garden which guests are welcome to use. For those walkers amongst you, it's just a 10-15 minutes stroll to the centre.

..for those who aren't walkers then buses and taxis are readily available to and from the centre

Astor House is also centrally located as a touring base for Stonehenge, Avebury, Wells, Glastonbury, The Cotswolds, Longleat and other delights - just an easy drive away. Astor House has a 2 night minimum stay on Friday and Saturday nights.

This will take a matter of minutes to get to us and will cost in the region of ?4.50, otherwise follow the directions given for the bus station. Avon Street Bus Station, Bath|Coach|1|On crossing the river via the road bridge, follow the footpath up the A367 (Wells Road) and follow up the hill. Oldfield Road is the second turning on the right and about 200 yards down the road. Portsmouth|Boat|60|M27 WEST, A30 SALISBURY, A36 WARMINSTER, A36 BATH. On reaching the outskirts of Bath look for signs to Exeter/Radstock A367 (Wells Road) and follow up the hill. Oldfield Road is the second turning on the right and about 200 yds down the road. Bristol|Road|10|M4 - JUNCTION 18 - A46 - A4 - follow A4 into Bath. At Cleveland Place just past the Morrisons Store turn left onto the A36 (signposted Through Traffic, University). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A36 (signposted All Other Routes). At traffic signals turn right onto the A36 (signposted Wells). At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A36 (signposted Bristol). At roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A367 (signposted Radstock). Turn second right into Oldfield Road.
