We are ideally situated for walking, riding, fishing, shooting or just enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We have fly fishing for wild trout & salmon on a 1 1/2 miles stretch of the River Barle

We are perfectly positioned for a first or last nights stay on the "Two Moors Walk" linking Exmoor to Dartmoor. Exmoor covers about 265 square miles, with its long and spectacular coast line, high moor land with wild ponies and red deer, steep valley with tumbling streams and picturesque villages, all together a lovely place to be. Whilst staying with us, why not sample our award winning fresh fish, local meat and game dishes, complimented by a good selection of local real ales, fine wines and spirits

The food is all freshly cooked to order and served in one of our cosy candle lit bars or our charming dining room, the choice is yours. Listed in the 2007 Good Pub Guide. Breakfast included
