Directions:
Motorway M5 J27|Road|13|The longer route from the East, but sometimes quicker route, is to leave the M5 at junction 27, follow the A361 to the end of the dual carriageway and drive north up the A396, always keeping the river Exe on your left. This is the easier way in poor weather or at the end of a long drive and is the more scenic along the Exe Valley. Motorway M5 J25|Road|20|Leave the M5 at junction 25 via Taunton and after following the A358 towards Minehead from Taunton turn left onto the B3224 towards Raleigh?s Cross at Bishops Lydeard. Then keep straight on to the B3190 which you will need to turn right at the Roborough Gate turn which is signposted to Wimbleball Lake and Brompton Regis. When you drive into the village look for the church and follow the road around the church and The George Inn is next to the church on the left.
