The inn is centrally located in a bustling part of the town and has a bar and garden which is open to the public. We offer warm, clean, comfortable rooms for the weary traveller

The Market House Inn is an entertaining hotspot with a wonderful atmosphere. As well as accommodation, it has a restaurant, bar and plenty of live entertainment. Long term accommodation is available

Our two en-suite rooms overlook our popular garden and at weekends are ideal for visitors wishing to fully participate in the active social life of this busy town centre inn. If you like to sleep at 9.30; this is not the place for you, as on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the garden is open until midnight

Midweek is more suitable for those looking for a quiet break. The Market House Inn has an award winning garden, function rooms, car park, restaurant, pool table, skittle alley, live music, a Traditional Sunday menu and a very warm welcome. Free Wi-Fi internet access is now available in most rooms

The large cosmopolitan bar has a huge selection of cold beers and fine wines and spirits from around the world. This well-stocked bar has satisfied the thirst of many a reveller. A full English breakfast is served in our restaurant from 8.30am to 10.00am.
