Welcome to Stilegate, our 5* quality Bed and Breakfast situated in the heart of Somerset, minutes from open access moorland on the Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is ideal for mountain biking, walking or bird watching. All our bedrooms have ensuite facilities and are well equipped. Fresh local produce is used wherever possible for breakfast, which is prepared on the Aga to suit individual requirements. A guest lounge with oak floor and wood burning store is available throughout the year to ensure a warm welcome by the hosts Heidi and Peter Morse. We offer a purpose built ground floor ensuite room with it's own independent access and private off-road parking bay. This is suitable for less able persons such as those confined to a wheelchair (mobility level 1 assessment by ETC) We also have free off road parking! We are ideally situated, a short drive from Dunster Village with its Castle, Clarke's Retail Village, Glastonbury Abbey and Tor, Wells and its beautiful Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole caves, St Audries bay, Minehead and Exmoor National Park and plenty more. Go badger watching on Exmoor or deer watching on the Quantock Hills. There are also well known walking routes passing virtually through the village including the Coleridge Way, Macmillan Way and Somerset Coastal Path.
