Double-Gate Farm is situated in a pleasant position on the Somerset Levels, with fine views to the Mendip Hills. Double-Gate is a comfortable listed Georgian Farmhouse on a "mixed" farm. . Begin the day with one of our scrumptious breakfast. Our menu has a lot to choose from: traditional farmhouse breakfast - succulent posh bangers - pancake fruitie - West Country kippers... all in all there are a dozen different breakfasts to suit most dietary requirements plus a breakfast bar of cereals, yogurts compots, cheese fresh fruit and juices. Beds have deep pocket-sprung mattresses to ensure a good night's sleep. All ground floor areas and one bedroom are accessible by wheelchair. The guest lounge has a wide screen TV, free internet access and a piano, and during the whole of December it is decorated in traditional fashion. The games room boasts a full size snooker table, table tennis, darts and shove ha' penny plus a wealth of up to date information on the whole. Somerset has an abundance of caves, gorges, waterways, wildlife, traditional crafts, beautiful gardens and memories of time past, its all here waiting for you.
