Rumwell Manor is a Georgian property with views of the beautiful Somerset countryside.

Built in 1805 - and the former residence of William Cadbury, thought to have been related to the famous chocolate family - the hotel has rooms located in the main building and also in the courtyard, which have been extensively refurbished to offer a high standard of quality accommodation.

The main house rooms are located in the original Georgian Manor House and offer a choice of double or twin-bedded rooms - with a romantic Four Poster also available.

These ten superior bedrooms are particularly spacious, with delightful views of the surrounding countryside or the landscaped gardens.

The Courtyard wing is situated just a few paces to the rear of the Main House - across a cobbled walkway.

This wing contains all standard bedrooms - all ten of which are comfortably decorated and furnished.

Whilst these rooms may be more compact than those in the Main House, all offer either double or twin beds and a number have convenient ground floor access - although none are specifically modified for disabled use.

Blackdown Restaurant is the perfect venue in which to enjoy a tempting meal - whether you are planning a romantic dinner for two or arranging a get-together with family and friends.

Table dHote, A La Carte and Bar Snack menus are available most evenings something to suit all tastes and budgets.

Directions
Located on the A38, approximately 2 miles south of Taunton and 4 miles from Wellington. If travelleing from the M5, exit at junction 26 and follow the signs to the A38 and Wellington. At the next roundabout, turn right onto the A38 and travel towards Taunton. The hotel is located approximately 3 miles along this road, on the right hand side aopposite a pub called The Rumwell Inn.
