With a wonderfully relaxing and informal atmosphere it is the perfect place to unwind, in a pleasant and fully non-smoking environment. Farthings is privately owned and the family and its experienced staff invite guests to savour the warm hospitality and superb locally sourced food. The restaurant has direct access to the gardens where drinks and canaps can be enjoyed on a warm summers evening and in the winter the comfort and warmth of log fires in the cosy lounge or bar

Each of the 12 en-suite bedrooms is tastefully decorated and has all the facilities one would expect of a Country House Hotel of this character. Ideally located for visiting numerous attractions including Barrington Court, Forde Abbey, Montacute House, Hestercombe Gardens and the West Somerset Railway. Wells Cathedral, Cheddar Gorge, Longleat Safari Park and the cities of Exeter and Bristol are easily accessible
