Just a few miles from Taunton, the county town of Somerset, Farthings Hotel is ideally situated for most of the local attractions. Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, Bath and Exeter are all within easy reach. Cheddar Gorge, with its famous caves, Wookey Hole and the rolling hills of the Mendips are just on the doorstep, and both North and South coasts of Devon and Somerset are only 30 minutes drive away

Farthings is also central for exploring many National Trust properties; Barrington Court, Hestercombe House and Gardens, Clapton Court, Forde Abbey and Gardens, Montacute House and East Lambrook Manor. Directions:
M5|Road|3.5|Take the M5, junction 25 and join the A358. Go through Henlade and travel for approximately 1 mile then turn left signed Hatch Beauchamp. Signposts on the A358 clearly signpost the Farthings Hotel & Restaurant from where you will find us just one-mile hence. From the A303, at Ilminster take the A358 to Taunton, travel approximately 5 miles, turn right signed Hatch Beauchamp.
