Best Western The Cliffe Hotel is a converted country house set in three and a half acres of gardens and grounds overlooking the beautiful River Avon Valley in the village of Limpley Stoke, only 4 miles from the historic city of Bath. The house dates back to 1821 and was converted into a hotel in 1961. Gradual improvement over the years has now achieved a combination of country house charm with modern luxury living. It is a place in which to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside together with fine cuisine and friendly service. We are ideally situated for Longleat Safari Park (25 minutes), Stonehenge (50 minutes), Bristol Airport (1 Hour), Bowood House (25 minutes) and a host of other National Trust sites.
