Eagle House at Bathford, Bathford

Accommodation Description:
Eagle House is a fine listed Georgian Manor House dating from 1750 set in a peaceful village just 3 miles from Bath. The house is grand but the atmosphere is informal with the accent on personal attention. Many rooms have far reaching views over the Avon valley

There are some large family rooms, one sleeping up to 5 people, and children, sharing their parents accommodation stay free. We are ideally situated for Bath, being only 3 miles away. Theres an excellent bus service - 3 an hour in to the city and 3 back out - and ample private car parking within the garden and out of sight of the road

Many guests enjoy the fact that breakfast goes on to 10.00 am and it is possible sometimes, by arrangement, to organise breakfast even later.Guests appreciate the fact that they are welcome to bring their own alcoholic drinks and consume them without charge , either in their room or in the lovely drawing room with its 16 foot ceiling and real log fire (in winter months)

We are always happy to provide ice and glasses if required. Although we do not serve lunch or dinner we have two good establishments in the village both within easy walking distance and many more just a few minutes away by car or taxi.

From: £68.00

Take M4 motorway to junction 18 then go south on A46 signed Bath for a full 9 miles. (Do not turn off A46 for Bath as Eagle House is reached from the motorway without going into the city). At the 9 mile point from the motorway turn right at the roundabout onto A363 signed Bradford on Avon. Stay 100 yards only on the A363 then fork left into Bathford Hill. Stay 250 yards in Bathford Hill and take first righ into Church Street. We are 200 yards down Church Street on the right hand side behind a high stone Wall and wrought iron gates. There is no commercial hotel sign (as it is a protected village)but Eagle House is clearly marked. There's ample free private parking.
