The sixteenth century farmhouse and cottages are easily found just off the A1120 Yoxford to Stowmarket road on the outskirts of Badingham. Central for visiting the market towns of Framlingham, with the college and castle, Halesworth, Debenham, Saxmundham, Leiston, the patchwork shop at Wickham Market, and the pretty villages of Peasenhall, Sibton, Laxfield, and Hoxne. As well as historic Dunwich, Aldeburgh, Southwold, Sizewell, Walberswick, and Orford on the Heritage Coast.

Nearby Woodbridge, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, and Norwich, offer great shopping experiences, while Felixstowe, Bungay, Beccles, Lavenham, Diss, Eye, and Harleston are fascinating to explore too. Local golf courses Cretingham, Fynn Valley, Thorpeness, and Ufford Park provide an ample choice of facilities.
