The Angel at Lavenham is a Tudor Inn, set in the Market Place in the centre of Englands finest Medieval village. Between Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury on the A134 just off the A14. This 8 bedroomed original Tudor Inn situated in the Market Place of the picturesque village of Lavenham The hotel reflects its period with decor and furnishings in-keeping with the history of the hotel, whilst still offering every modern amenity you would expect of a traditional Inn. Open fires and exposed beams really add to the atmosphere. The ambience of the buildings exudes from every corner in this interesting place where you can wander through cobbled streets and alleys to a bygone era There are eight en-suite bedrooms, six Doubles, one Twin and a Family room located on the ground floor. All tastefully decorated in-keeping with the buildings history, with exposed beams and elegant furnishings. All rooms are equipped with every modern day convenience to make your stay comfortable Chefs at the Angel consistently produce a high standard of food that has earned an AA rosette each year since 1995. All the food is prepared on the premises from fresh ingredients, locally purchased whenever possible.
