Hawksley House is located in the heart of Sunderland City Centre and is situated opposite Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens. Hawksley House is a superb converted Victorian building and boasts a fantastic oak staircase leading to a galleried landing with a beautiful stained glass dome above. A vast range of restaurants, bars, clubs and cultural attractions are located within a short walk

All of the apartments have been individually designed to reflect the ambience of the building. Complemented with everything expected in a 4* equivalent hotel room with the benefit of each apartment having washer/dryer, dishwasher, a comprehensive range of kitchenware, cutlery and crockery ? everything required! The two Premium Apartments, have fantastic architectural features and grandeur and are ideal for business meetings or special treats. Please note that Hackett Property are not located on site at Hawksley House and check ins arriving after 6pm Monday to Friday 4pm Saturday and all day on Sunday need to be arranged in advance

There are no dining facilities within Hawksley House however an Italian restaurant is located below the building. This is also the case with The Mowbray apartments. A number of bars and restaurants are within a few minutes walking distance. A small supermarket is located in The Bridges Shopping Centre a few minutes walk away. Both complexes are located in the Sunniside area of Sunderland which is currently undergoing a multimillion pound makeover. Cinema, casino and bowling are also nearby.
