It is close to the university (20 minute walk, or less on the metro) and the hospital is only a 10 minute drive away. Newcastle Airport is 25 minutes away by metro and cheaper than a taxi.
The hotel offers a choice of restaurants (Scalini's and Louis'), both of which can charge back to your room. There is also food available in Osbornes licensed bar until 9pm weekdays.
