Built in 1866 this imposing Jacobean style house is nestled in 157 acres of grounds.

The hotel's impressive lounge was once the Great Hall and has the original oak panelling, ornate mirrors, chandeliers and period furniture.

The new, luxury Welcombe Spa, which opened in May 2006, features an impressive level deck swimming pool with a separate external vitality pool, four thermal experience rooms, a selection of Clarins treatment rooms, a gymnasium and an aerobics studio.
