The Green Dragon, Devizes

Accommodation Description:
Charming surroundings and equally charming hosts. The Green Dragon is located in the heart of rural Wiltshire in a small village at the foot of Salisbury Plain. We are only 5 miles from Devizes

Charming surroundings and equally charming hosts. Nicky and Steve would like to entertain you. We'd welcome the opportunity to 'wine and dine' you, but with the added advantage that you can really relax by staying with us as well

We offer a range of rooms to suit all tastes and requirements, all of which are non-smoking. The Green Dragon is pitched in the heart of rural Wiltshire, in a small village at the foot of Salisbury Plain. Though technically out in the sticks, we're only ever a short car or bus ride from a wealth of interesting landmarks, sights and memorable experiences

We're about 30 minutes away from the Cathedral City of Salisbury, a similar distance from historic Bath with its wealth of architectural history, as well as Stonehenge and Avebury. The market towns of Devizes (5 miles), Marlborough, Hungerford and Chippenham are all a short scenic ride away and you're never far from somewhere to sit and enjoy a picnic. In fact, we even offer a packed-lunch service from the pub

Our non-smoking restaurant features log fires in winter and traditional pub games. There is a spacious function room/skittle alley available for functions and meetings, plus a beer garden with a petangue piste and aviary. Other features include a residents' lounge

Walkers and cyclists are welcome and lock up is available for bikes. Cask Marque Approved. 'Taste of the West' Bronze Award for 2007
