Rosemundy Cottage provides a spacious, comfortable and relaxing base for a weekend break in Devizes or longer holiday in Wiltshire. Down a short lane, the Wisteria covered front is alongside the Kennet and Avon Canal. The picturesque cottage is a short, level walk to the Market Place either by towpath or road

It is well situated for sightseeing, being within easy reach of many tourist attractions. Alternatively, watch the narrow boats go by from the secluded upper patio or feed the ducks from the canal side terrace. Rosemundy Cottage offers a high standard of comfort in all rooms and includes a guest office and sitting room with satellite TV

The dining room has an open fireplace and joins the tranquil sitting room which opens out onto a sunny patio and the enclosed garden beyond which has a summer house, greenhouse, swimming pool (heated in summer) and shaded sitting area. Guests are welcome to use the barbeque on warm summer evenings. Breakfast at leisure in traditional English style - fruit juice, cereal, fresh fruit and then a choice of freshly cooked items followed by honey and homemade bread, marmalade or jam, with tea or coffee of your choice

Specialities include honey from Devizes and fresh duck eggs from near Lacock. Rosemundy Cottage uses local produce and has the Wiltshire Breakfast Award.

Directions:
M4 from the West|Road|15|From the west on M4 take junction 17, the A350 to Chippenham and join the A4 signed for Calne and Marlborough. Just out of Chippenham, close to Bowood House, take the right fork, A342 to Devizes. Continue through Devizes centre, for A361 for Swindon, past the Crammer, over the canal bridge, and just after the Wiltshire Police HQ, on the right, turn into the lane, between two brick walls, Rosemundy Cottage is on the right, just before the canal bridge. M4 from London|Road|26|Travelling from M4 London take junction 14 to Hungerford, then A4 through Marlborough to just after Silbury Hill, then left on A361 (roman) road. On the edge of town you will pass the old Barracks, opposite a petrol station. At the roundabout continue ahead for approximately 300 yards. On the left is a lane between two brick walls, turn here for Rosemundy Cottage which is set back off London Road.
