A warm, welcoming, elegant Edwardian guest house in landscaped gardens with summerhouse. Quietly situated yet only ten minutes stroll from Salisbury city centre, and Cathedral. Rokeby Guest House has been awarded a 4 star silver rating from the English Tourist Board. It is set in half an acre of landscaped gardens, with ornamental fishpond, water lilies and fountain, leisure furniture and barbeque for 'al fresco' dining. Salisbury is an ancient cathedral city. Its history goes back over a thousand years and its origins can be traced thousands of years further back. Its not surprising therefore that it has many points of interest, especially historical interest, and is close to many other historic sites. Salisbury also has a local market every Tuesday and Saturday. The major attractions include the cathedral, Old Sarum, Stonehenge & Wilton House. Guests are welcome to relax in the gardens, work out in the gymnasium or seek peace and quiet in the summerhouse. The Rokeby enjoys a full drinks licence There is 24 hour internet access at no extra cost, with the provision for copying and CD writing also avaliable . PLEAE NOTE: Check In is from 16:00 to 19:00 (Early or Late check ins by arrangement) & Check Out is by 10:00. We are a no smoking accommodation. Regrettably we cannot accept pets.
