Throapham House offers 5 Gold Award accommodation in a convenient and pleasant rural location in the hamlet of Throapham, near Dinnington in South Yorkshire.Located just three miles from the M1M18A57 junction and within easy reach of the centres of Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Worksop. The A1 and Robin Hood Airport at Doncaster are nearby, as are the boundaries of Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire, making Throapham House an ideal base for both business and leisure visitors

Dinnington and Laughton are within easy walking distance with a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants available. Detailed directions and a map can be found on our website.A Grade II listed property dating from around 1750, Throapham House has been the family home of owners Ann and Robert since 1993 and now provides bed and breakfast accommodation in three spacious double rooms

All bedrooms are en-suite with shower and are equipped with high quality furniture and fittings. Our largest room features a luxury bathroom with separate shower cubicle and can be converted to a twin on request.Subject to availability we can accommodate small children on a fold-up bed at additional cost in our two larger rooms

We offer a varied breakfast menu including vegetarian options and use local and home grown produce when available.Free off-road parking is provided on site.All rooms enjoy both wireless and fixed broadband internet access at no extra cost

We are located in the hamlet of Throapham near Dinnington close to the nearby villages of Anston Laughton Maltby Thurcroft and Tickhill. Larger nearby towns and cities nearby include Doncaster Rotherham Sheffield and Worksop.By rail...Our nearest railway stations are at Kiveton Park and Worksop with both just a few miles away. If you are travelling by rail and would like details of local taxi companies please request details via the contact form.By bus...Dinnington Interchange is about half a mile away and provides bus links to and from the major towns in the area. Many Dinnington buses stop at the end of Breck Lane which is about 200m from Throapham House. We can provide further details on request.By road...From M1 Junction 31 take the A57 east towards Worksop.After approximately one mile turn left at the traffic lights adjacent to the Red Lion Hotel.Continue on this road for about one mile to the next roundabout.Take the second exit from the roundabout onto Common Road and proceed for 0.5 mile. The road name changes into Oldcotes Road as you enter Throapham.Throapham House is located on the left hand side about 200 yards after you pass the Throapham sign.Turn left into the courtyard just before our sign.From the A1 at Blyth (Nottinghamshire) take the exit leading to Blyth village.As you pass the church on your right hand side turn right onto the A634 towards Rotherham.Continue on this road for about 2.5 miles until you reach the roundabout in the village of Oldcotes.Take the first exit towards Worksop and after 200 yards turn right to Dinnington.Continue on for a further 2.5 miles until you reach Throapham.Throapham House is located on the right hand side after about 100 yards.Turn left into the courtyard just after our sign.
