Harmony House is a short drive to the South of York set in a quiet village overlooking the Green. Harmony House dating back to the 18th Century has been sympathetically modernized retaining many of the characteristics of log fires, open beams and an inglenook fireplace. All rooms are en suite with above average hospitality trays including hot and cold drinks, mini fridges, homemade biscuits or cakes, WiFi, flat screen TVs and desks

There is a comfortable lounge for those wishing to relax after a long day sight seeing or at the office, and snacks or light meals with a glass of wine are available. Guests can also relax outside watching the wildlife on the GreenHarmony House is a member of the Deliciously Yorkshire breakfast scheme using locally sourced ingredients.There are lighter alternatives such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, croissant with mushrooms, bacon and brie, omelets and smoked haddock

It is also a cookery school run by Hilary Finney who trained at the Cordon Bleu School of Cookery in London There are golf courses,fishing ponds, riding schools and a cycle track nearby together with many country side walks. It is near to Naburn Lock Caravan Site, Cawood, Escrick and all major trunk roads. M1

M62 and A1. There is ample parking and a secure storage for motor bikes.

Directions:
Take the B1222 from the A19 south of York towards Naburn. After passing through Naburn you will reach Stillingfleet. After passing the Church take the right hand turn before the bridge signposted to Lodge Nurseries called The Green. Harmony House is the 2nd property on the right. Park on the gravel on the left opposite Harmony house. There are no guest house signs outside inkeeping with the village but we ahve a white old fashioned gas lamp in the front garden and harmony House sign is on the wall to the right of the steps
