A traditional country inn, offering AA 3 star en-suite accommodation, friendly bar and AA award winning restaurant. Our bar is open daily offering a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike. With beamed ceilings and seasonal log fires you are assured of a warm welcome

Why not join in the activities in the bar which include regular charity quizzes and a fortnightly live music session on Mondays by local musicians? We serve a range of cask ales, lagers and fine wines. With up to 5 different cask ales available, why not try one of our legendary local ales? You can check with the Head Brewer, hes in the bar most nights carrying out market research and quality checks! He keeps coming back so we must be getting something right! In the summer why not enjoy our beer garden too? Pets are welcome in the bar area and beer garden at the rear of the property. Our AA award winning restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, Wednesday through Sunday ( SUNDAY EVENINGS, ADVANCED RESERVATIONS ONLY, PLEASE RESERVE YOUR TABLE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING

) each week offering both fixed price and a la carte options ideal either for a quick bite to eat or a more special meal from our extensive a la carte menu. We include several veggie options but Chef will always try and create something especially for you given time and notice. Breakfast is available each day

The Countryman's Inn is in the small Dales village of Hunton between Bedale (5 miles) and Leyburn (5miles). Hunton is 8 miles from the A1 at Leeming Bar exit and is 1.5 miles North of the A684 Bedale to Leyburn road. We are 3.5 miles from the centre of Catterick Garrison and 4 miles from Catterick race course.Nearest rail links are either Northallerton 12 miles or Darlington 20miles. The travelling time by car is similar from both locations.The nearest airports are DurhamTees Valley and LeedsBradford both about 45 minutes drive.
