Fountains Guest House, Harrogate

Accommodation Description:
The Fountains is an elegant Victorian building which has retained many of its original features. We are a family run business who have 30 years experience in the leisure business and can assure you of a warm welcome and a professional attitude to your stay with us.

The Fountains Guest Accommodation, Harrogate, is an elegant Victorian building dating back to 1891 when local builders purchased the land from Conrad du Bois de Ferrieres. The house was then sold to a local printer and since then has been occupied by professional people until 1985 when it became a Hotel / Guest House. There are ten bedrooms in the fountains, two single, two twins and six double rooms which are furnished in a cosy style and all have colour TV, radio alarm clocks, coffee & tea making facilities and also central heating from radiators which you can control from a thermostat in the room

We are situated in a quiet residential area of Harrogate but remain just a short eight minuets walk from the town centre and only a couple of minutes from the famous International Centre and Exhibition Halls. The town itself has many bars and restaurants along with exclusive shops and museums, art galleries, gardens , Victorian Theatre and also the famous Royal Kursaal which has just been refurbished to an extremely high standard. Harrogate is also known as the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and we are only a short journey to many of the historic sights which are numerous to this area and there are many market towns and country coffee shops to visit in between the sight seeing all within short distances of Harrogate

You can take breakfast in our breakfast room between 07.30 & 09.00

Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and we try our best to use locally sourced produce whenever possible. Dave & Nell your hosts have been in the hospitality business for 30 years and can offer a warm welcome and a professional attitude to your stay
