Accommodation Description:

Built in 1796 Larpool Hall is a fine country house set within 14 acres of tranquil gardens and woodland with splendid views over the Esk Valley and to the sea at Whitby. With its narrow streets and iconic ruined abbey Whitby is about 1 miles away. Many of the 25 en-suite bedrooms overlook the wooded grounds and are equipped with a hairdryer clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.

Televisions and telephones are not provided in the bedrooms. Larpool Hall designated non-smoking has an indoor spa pool two lounges and a bar. Meals are served in an informal friendly atmosphere at tables for up to eight guests.

A three-course dinner is served at 7 to 7.30pm for a charge of 18 GBP per person. If you would like to dine at the country house please contact the house before 6pm to make your dinner reservation. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered.

To allow you to make the most of your touring or walking holiday a self-select picnic lunch can be provided for the small charge of 10 GBP per person. Free car parking is available. Please notify the country house in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm.

Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.The country house is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday with the North Yorkshire Moors National Park just a quarter of a mile away. Other nearby attractions include York 60 miles away and Castle Howard 49 miles away.This country house has a 4-star Visit Britain rating.
