The Orange Tree is a place where you can truly get away from it all! An eight bedroom 3 star (self assessed) guesthouse just outside the peaceful village of Rosedale Abbey in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park it's the perfect escape with friends colleagues or just on your own.

We are open throughout the week for Bed and (Vegetarian) Breakfast. During your stay you can relax in our comfortable rooms enjoy the treatments and make use of all the facilities at your own leisure. If you are interested in exploring the area and love walking or cycling then this is the ideal base for you.

From a gentle stroll down to Rosedale Abbey to an invigorating hike up Rosedale Chimney Bank there are plenty of paths to explore. Lyke Wake Walk with its diverse wildlife and moorland scenery is a perfect trail. We can give you advice and suggest walks and route maps if you need them.

Your walking breaks can also include therapeutic sessions such as relaxation visualisation gentle yoga exercise and reflexology or massage by qualified therapists at a small extra cost. You can also use our sauna and foot spas. Our location makes The Orange Tree an ideal base for a walking holiday and exploring Rosedale.
