Accommodation Description:

The Hazelwood provides high quality accommodation in a city centre location only 400 yards from York Minster. Free parking and wireless broadband are available throughout the premises. Dating from 1862 the building comprises two restored Victorian town houses which retain many original features.

Situated in a quiet residential street it offers easy access on foot to all the shops restaurants and attractions within the city walls. There are several room categories to suit your preference with two bedrooms on the ground floor. We like to think that all our rooms are quiet.

Breakfast(optional) includes a wide choice from the buffet followed by a traditional English or vegetarian alternative. Special diets can be catered for. IMPORTANT INFORMATION/FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS CHECK IN It is most helpful if you can let us know your approximate arrival time and means of travel.

The latest time for arrival is 7:00 p.m. except by arrangement. You may check in from 11.00am onwards.

If your room is not ready you are welcome to park and/or store your luggage with us. Your room will be ready no later than 4.00pm. CHILDREN We are unable to accommodate babies or children under the age of 8 and we cannot put extra beds in rooms so that the maximum occupancy in each room is 2 people including children over 8.

GROUPS in the case of reservations for groups of more than six persons whether made in one or more bookings different prices and terms and conditions apply.
