Beautiful Georgian Grade II listed building, ten minutes walk in to the city centre, station and racecourse. Ten en-suite rooms including two family rooms, a four poster room and a single room. All have colour TVs, most with DVD, tea and coffee making facilities, good selection of books, games, videos for children

Free Wifi .Totally non-smoking, with very large private car park. Great views in some rooms of station and railway museum and the newest attraction, the York eye

Friendly, informal and extremely comfortable. Very highly commended. Good access to all coastal roads, Dales, Moors etc

You hosts Pam and Tony have 16 years experience in looking after guests. Large garden and patio to rear. Pet friendly

Good restaurants and pubs nearby for evening meals.

Directions:
Approaching York on the A64 take the slip road B1237 on to the ring road then following signs for the A59 Harrogate to York road. On approaching the second roundabout which is the A59 roundabout turn right in to York. Remain on this road all the way in to the city centre about 2.5 miles. You will cros a large iron bridge and The Apple House is situated 200 yards on the left. Take the side street about 10 yards past the Apple House and round back in to private car park
