The Griffin Inn is a 17th century Inn with 5 open fireplaces downstairs in the pub and restaurant and many of the features date back to 1642. They include huge beams in 2 of the bedrooms. The accommodation has been recently built and to a high standard with all new beds bedding and antique furniture.

The local area is popular with walkers horse riders and cyclists and is within 30 minutes of both Manchester and Leeds - 10 minutes from the M62 corridor. The popular tourist destination of Haworth is 10 miles away (Bronte country) as well as many others
