Looking southwest from Sheep Street, in the direction of Burford. Its this sort of idyllic view that entices visitors to the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. It is hard to imagine, seeing this view, that Charlbury was once no more than a clearing in the woods of the royal hunting ground of Wychwood Forest.
