Not the London Bridge of nursery rhyme fame - that structure is long gone. Nor, indeed, the London Bridge that replaced the original medieval structure - that's gone, too. This modern London Bridge was opened in 1973 and carries the A3 from Southwark to an area of the City of London near Monument tube station.
