There is plenty to do in Stirling and you can learn more about places of interest and events in our links page. Stirling is one of Scotland's oldest and most historic Cities. A former seat of government, with its royal palace and fortress providing panoramic views to the highlands and eastwards down the carse of the Forth towards Edinburgh

Several historic battle sites are within a few miles. The National Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Visitors Centre are both on the edge of the City and you can learn of other places of interest and events in Stirling via our links page. Stirling with its excellent transportation links is an ideal centre to base a touring holiday of Central Scotland upon
