The Powfoot Golf Hotel offers luxury en-suite accommodation, fine food, golf breaks, weddings, functions, and much more in the charming village of Powfoot near Annan in Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland.

The original house, which was built in the 19th century as a private residence, has been modernised to create a stylish and comfortable hotel. There are wonderful views stretching for miles over the Solway Firth toward the Lakeland hills. Most of the eighteen bedrooms overlook the sea or Powfoot Championship Golf Course

Secure online accommodation booking is available. Food is styled by our Head Chef, Andrew Kelso, and his team providing an ever-changing mix of traditional and modern using the best local suppliers for meat, game, fish and shellfish. Informal dining is available in the Bunker Bar and Conservatory whilst the Grill Room provides fine dining

Our wine list offers value and quality from Europe and the New World. You will find the bar well stocked with malt whiskies, Belhaven Ales and lagers. During the summer months a different cask conditioned real ale is featured every week

Dumfries and Galloway is often described as a miniature Scotland. The region has vast amounts of beautiful landscape for any visitor to enjoy, ranging from wild uplands to picturesque coastal areas. It is an unspoilt haven for anyone who wishes to enjoy the peace and quiet of relaxing countryside

Dumfries is the largest town in the region and is host to many historical sites, such as the monastery where Robert the Bruce killed the Red Colmyn, or the school attended by J.M Barrie

Caerlaverock Castle is home to the Wetlands and Wildfowl Trust, which is dedicated to protecting the natural environment of wildlife.
