The Town House Hotel is a family run Restaurant with Rooms in the small town of Markinch approx 3 miles from Glenrothes in the Historic Kingdom of Fife. The hotel was a former coaching inn which has been extensively upgraded over a number of years, with the emphasis on traditional design, comfort and great food. We have been recognised by various hotel guides for achieving the very highest standard and providing outstanding quality, warm hospitality and good value

The Hotel is run under the personal supervision of resident proprietors Harry and Lesley Bain.

Directions:
From the South:Follow the M90 north to junction 2A.At junction 2A follow signs to GlenrothesKirkaldy.After approx. 11.5 miles go straight over first roundabout.At next roundabout approx 2.5 miles turn right on B921 (B9130) following signs to Coaltown of Balgonie.Carry on through Coaltown for approx. 2 miles until you come to a T junction.Turn left at T junction and you will see the Town House Hotel on the left approx. 100 yards. From the North:Follow the A92 southwards.When nearing Glenrothes look out for sign to Markinch.Take a left turning at the sign for Markinch which is the B9130.Carry on through Markinch for approx. 1.25 miles.The Town House Hotel is on the right.
