Rufflets Country House, Strathkinness

Accommodation Description:

The turreted mansion house, set in 10 acres of award-winning gardens one mile west of St Andrews, has been in the same family ownership since 1952 . The fine dining Terrace Restaurant has 2 AA Rosettes, with the hotels own garden supplying much of the fresh produce. The bar supper Menu offers an informal alternative served Sunday to Thursday 5pm to 7pm

Renowned for friendly personal service in a peacefull location only 1.5 miles from the home of golf. We are happy to make golfing arrangements on any local courses

Rufflets has 24 individually styled and tastefully decorated bedrooms, including three suites, 19 of which are located in the main house. Unlike most of the larger chain hotels, our rooms are different shapes and sizes which adds to their individual character and charm. The elegant drawing room, with Adam fireplace, is renowned for its collection of Russell Flint water colour paintings

Soft furnishings in pastel shades, comfy sofas and armchairs and glowing lamps make this a relaxing place to curl up in front of the fire with a book, or sample afternoon tea with Rufflets renowned home baking. Bar Lunches are served daily in the brasserie style Music Room Bar and Library. In the evening the mood changes and the Bar becomes the place to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail whilst ordering dinner from the fine dining Terrace Restaurant menu

After dinner you must try some of the 100 malt whiskys on offer. Ideal conference centre with meeting rooms for up to 200 delegates.
