The towns of Keith and Huntly lie approximately 10 miles from the cottage The beaches of Banff, Portsoy and Cullen are some 15 miles away with the cottage surrounded by the rolling hills of the Deveron Valley. There is a Post Office and a small shop in the village which is a 10 min stroll from the cottage. The Post Office is open until midday and the shop is open to 7 30pm daily. The Forbes Arms, the local pub and restaurant, is situated next to the Post Office on the banks of the River Deveron and offers a extensive menu and a variety of real ales.Richard and Karen will greet you with a warm welcome and assist you with any enquiries you might have There are many activities in and around the area and these you will find on the activity page of our website.
