Accommodation Description:
Private Cottage ideally placed for fishing, golf, whiskey and castle trails, Bird Watching and Touring the countryside. Spacious and flexible accommodation. The cottage is set in 2 acres of private garden and offers a double bedroom with private lounge, kitchen and bathroom

A second bedroom is available making this accommodation ideal for families. Please telephone for the availability and rate for use of the second bedroom. The towns of Keith and Huntly lie approximately 10 miles from the cottage

The beaches of Banff, Portsoy and Cullen are some 15 miles away with the cottage surrounded by the rolling hills of the Deveron Valley. There is a Post Office and a small shop in the village which is a 10 min stroll from the cottage. The Post Office is open until midday and the shop is open to 7

30pm daily. The Forbes Arms, the local pub and restaurant, is situated next to the Post Office on the banks of the River Deveron and offers a extensive menu and a variety of real ales.Richard and Karen will greet you with a warm welcome and assist you with any enquiries you might have

Special Occasions if youre celebrating a special occasion during your stay and would like to pre-arrange champagne, chocolates, roses etc just inform us of your requests before you arrive

PLEASE NOTE : This is a Rural Cottage NOT a hotel.From Aberdeen DirectionFollow the A96 to Huntly. When you come to a roundabout at Huntly go across towards Keith. Less than a mile along you will see a sign on the right hand side saying B9022 to Portsoy take that road. Continue until you get to a staggered crossroads with Roberts of Rothiemay garage on your right at staggered crossroads. Take the right hand turn at the staggered crossroads towards Rothiemay Village. You will see a BandB sign on your left take that turn you are now at Mannoch Hill Cottage. If Coming From Inverness DirectionTake the A96 towards Huntly. About a mile before you arrive in Huntly there is a Sign marked B9022 to Portsoy on your left take that road and continue until you come to a staggered Crossroads with Roberts of Rothiemay garage on your right. At the staggered crossroads turn right taking you towards Rothiemay Village. You will see a BandB sign on your left take that turn you are now at Mannoch Hill Cottage.
