Welcome to The Glen Lui Hotel, a family owned and run hotel, set in a secluded location within two acres of woodland at the edge of the village of Ballater. The hotel is set within the boundaries of Cairngorms National Park and enjoys stunning views over the golf course to Lochnagar.
Ideally located for peace and quiet, yet only five minutes walk into the village. The location is also ideal for walking, golf, skiing during winter and fly fishing on the River Dee. We are also on the Malt Whiskey and Castle Trail and Balmoral Castle is nearby.
The hotel has a spacious restaurant, where a great deal of imagination goes into the preparation of the restaurant menus and the food is first class, using fresh local produce, with a suitably supportive wine list. We also have a welcoming bar and a pianist plays on the divine grand piano in our restaurant most Saturday evenings.
Ample car parking. Quiet and peaceful location. Families welcome.
