Description:
Our aim as a family run hotel is simple - to welcome guests from all over the world to this unique stretch of coastline and introduce them to our wholesome Scottish Menus and warm hospitality.
The renowned Cullen Bay Hotel occupies an outstanding position just 1/4 mile west of the Royal Burgh of Cullen. From its commanding vantage point, guests enjoy magnificent panoramas of Cullen Bay and its "singing sands". The Cullen Bay Hotel stands on the former site of Farskane House, a residence of the lairds of Gordon dating from 1677. In 1924 Farskane House was converted to the Cullen Bay Hotel by Mrs Simpson. Cullen at that time was strongly influenced by the Temperance movement whereas Farskane House was located just outside the Parish Boundary. Washed by the warming gulf stream, the Moray Firth frequently delights guests with sightings of Dolphins, Porpoises and Minke Whales. The Hotel is delighted to announce that our disabled toilet and baby changing facility has now been completed. The Cullen Bay Hotel has 14 attractively furnished bedrooms. All rooms are ensuite and are comprehensively equipped with; Colour Television, Direct Dial Telephone, Hospitality Tray, Tourist Information Guide, Central Heating and Guest Toiletries. Our Turret room enjoys panoramic sea views and a four poster bed, perfect for that romantic break. Champagne, chocolates and flowers can be arranged by prior notice to surprise your loved one.
