Welcome to Kinkell House, a comfortable Victorian family home. Keith and Clare are happy to welcome you to their home, where you are assured of both a comfortable and memorable stay. Traditionally furnished and tastefully decorated throughout, all rooms have those little extra touches to welcome you

There is also a Lounge with games and books to help you relax after a days touring in the Highlands. For the nicer days, we have garden grounds for guests use. Kinkell House is ideally situated five minutes walk from Inverness city centre and all amenities including shops, bus, rail, cinema, Eden Court Theatre, Loch Ness, Dolphin Tours and much, much more

Inverness city centre is a compact, vibrant area packed with bars, restaurants, specialised and general shopping. There are some delightful walks along both the river and canal. We have a very informative museum, a cathedral, and a library where the archives are situated for those guests tracing their family history

Inverness is an ideal base for touring throughout the Highlands and Islands, whether by car or by the excellent public transport links. Private parking is available for guests.

Inverness Bus Station|Bus|0.25|Exit onto Academy Street and turn left. Cross at the traffic lights outside the rail station and turn left then right into Innes Street. At the end of this, go up the steps facing you and then straight along the road at the top - Ardconnell Street. At the Redcliffe Hotel, turn left into Argyll Street then right into Mitchell's Lane. At the end of this turn left and we are 20 yards along on the left. Inverness Railway Station|Train|0.25|The easiest way is to take a taxi as we are uphill! Or, cross at the traffic lights outside the station and turn left then first right into Innes Street. At the end of this street there are steps facing you - Market Brae Steps. Go up these and at the top go straight along the road in front called Ardconnell Street, when you are nearly at the end turn left into Argyll Street by the Redcliffe Hotel and then first right into Mitchell's Lane, at the end turn left and we are 20 yards on the left. Inverness City Centre|Road|0.25|On reaching the city centre, turn up Castle Street, follow this road up and straight through trqaffic lights, take the first turn on the left after the traffic lights into Old Edinburgh Road. Kinkell House is 100m along on the left.
