Alva House is a small but very friendly guest house and your hosts are Alan and Avril, who will go out of their way to make your stay in Edinburgh a memory to treasure. The house is a recently renovated large bungalow and all guest rooms are situated on the 1st floor level. You also have access to the sun trap conservatory and the residents lounge

The house is on a main bus route ( 24 hours a day) and all the events of the Festival can be reached in about 15-20 minutes.. The airport is about 15 minutes drive away and transfers are available by prior arrangement

Parking at the house is available and is free 24 hours a day
