Situated on Dalkeith's High Street overlooking the historic St Nicholas Buccleuch Parish Church The County Hotel has something to suit all tastes and budgets. Our 32 ensuite bedrooms (single double triple queen or family) offer free wifi 24 flatscreen TV's with DVD players and ample work desk space. Two 'dog friendly' rooms are also available with prior arrangement

The hotel is located only 6 miles from all the attractions based in Edinburgh City Centre and is easily accessible by car or bus; a fantastic base from which to explore the Mid and East Lothian areas. Waverley Train Station is a 17 minute car journey Edinburgh International Airport 20 minutes.Our 80 seater restaurant offers daily dining from noon serving light snacks a discounted early supper selection Spanish Tapasaswell as an Al La Carte and childrens menu

Guests can also enjoy our coffee lounge open from 8.30am serving Segafredo coffee and a selection of delicious cakes and pastries.Our Piano Bar is the perfect place to meet and enjoy a cocktail or glass of champagne

Our head barman James will also mix to order. We have a range beers and lagers on tap and a good selection of Scottish Malt Whisky. The Piano Bar also plays host to regular live music and entertainment evenings

The hotel has two function suites suitable for both business and social purposes. The Rosebury can hold up to 120 guests and is self contained with own toilet block bar and dancefloor. The Melrose Suite consists of a main room and further 'breakout' room holding 40 + 20 guests

Equipment included in room hire: 84 Smartboard WEBINAR conferencing Internet access via PC free WIFI 42 flatscreen TV and DVD player 84 wall mounted pull down projection screen and flipchart.
