Merith House Hotel, Edinburgh

Accommodation Description:
Just a mile from the centre of Edinburgh stands the Merith House Hotel, formed from two Victorian houses linked together to form comfortable 3 star accommodation. All rooms at Merith House are ensuite and the hotel has excellent transportation links to the city centre.

The Merith House Hotel is two Victorian town houses, situated in the heart of Scotland's ancient capital. This family run business is based approximately 1 mile from Waverley Station and Princes Street, on an excellent bus route. The Merith has 15 ALL en-suite rooms with LCD tv and tea/ coffee making facilties

Free Wifi. Free street parking and a complimentary continential breakfast is served for every guest.

The managers of Merith House Hotel will welcome you with warm smiles and big hearts. Merith House has 14 en suite rooms, varying in size but practical and comfortable with LCD television (over 50 channels), tea/coffee making facilties and free WI-FI. Front facing rooms have lovely views of the Leith Links Park where the first rules of golf were drawn up and played over 5 holes

It affords an excellent base for those enjoying a more leisurely break, located on a main bus route, the number 25 & 12. The journey between here and the town is approximately 10 minutes by bus. Without the need to maintain a restaurant or bar the Merith's rates can be kept low and the standard of rooms higher, there are many trendy and traditional bars and restaurants nearby

We benefit by having easy access to all of Edinburgh's major attractions. Walk the Royal mile from the Palace of Holyrood to Edinburgh Castle, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Malt Whisky Heritage Centre, the Royal Yacht Britannia or perhaps enjoy a spot of shopping on Princes Street or at Ocean Terminal. If you would like to see more of beautiful Scotland please contact us prior to or during your stay for information on bus tours available with the advantage of you being picked up at the hotel front door

Sit down continental breakfast included for all guests and free on street parking, no need to reserve. You will surely experience a lovely stay here at the Merith and on departure we will say "Haste ye back!"
