Sunnyside Cottage was built in 1841 and is one of the oldest buildings in the area. It has a B&B history spreading back over 60 years. It boasts an AA 3 star rating and a 3 star Visit Scotland rating

An ideal stopping place to visit Balloch Castle, Loch Lomond, the historic City of Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh and the Trossachs by road or rail. We are also well placed for those who love to ramble. Why not visit Dumbarton, the ancient capital of the kingdom of Strath-clyde, and Dumbarton castle sited on a 240ft high volcanic plug

A deceptively large cottage with six en suite rooms, each with its own style of d?cor. Continually modernised and upgraded to meet the needs of the 21st century guest, it still retains its warm cottage feel. Free WiFi internet access

We have enough seating to cater for all of our guests. Our dining room is a very picturesque room with polished wooden floors. Breakfast consists of 5 or 6 choices od cerials, yogurt, fruit juice, milk, Scottish oats cakes, fresh fruit, jams, marmalade, honey. Then the cooked breakfast consists of eggs to choice, bacon, sausages, black pud or haggis, beans, fresh tomato and mushrooms with plenty of toast. Fresh coffee and a selection of teas. Chocolate and strawbery Nesquik for the kids.
