The guest house decor is designed on classic and traditional lines, blending in naturally with the local beauty and peaceful setting of Blarcreen. Blarcreen is the perfect base for anyone who enjoys the peace and tranquility of the Scottish countryside. Oban and the surrounding area offers a wide range of activities from gentle strolls along the Loch shore to such sports as kayaking, mountain biking and gliding

Each of our well appointed rooms boast an individual styling in both decor and furniture, with uninterrupted views across Loch Etive to the hills and mountains beyond. All have central heating, flat screen television with DVD and Sky TV, radio, tea and coffee making facilities

A full cooked breakfast is served in the guest house dining room and dinner can also be taken with prior arrangment. In addition, there is a large private sitting room with a log fire, TV/DVD with a large selection of DVDs and small reading library.

Edinburgh|Road|150|Follow M9 to Stirling, from Stirling follow the A84, through Callander to Lochearnhead and take the A85 signposted Crianlarich/Oban. Follow signs to Oban, take the Fort William exit at Connel (just after you pass under the metal suspension bridge on LEFT). Take 1st RIGHT signposted BONAWE, continue 6 miles until you reach intersection signposted BARCALDINE, carry staight on. Blarcreen is a further 1/2 mile on right hand side. Fort William|Road|40|Take A828 from Fort William to Barcaldine. Turn LEFT at B845 BONAWE and drive along this single track road for 6 miles. Take LEFT fork at end of road. Follow sign '1/2 mile to Blarcreen'. Blarcreen is then on right. Glasgow|Road|120|Exit M8 at junction 30 follow signs for ERSKINE BRIDGE (M898). Follow A82 to Crianlarich, follow signs to Tyndrum then A85 signposted Oban. Continue to Connel at Connel go under metal suspension bridge, take sharp left turn at 'Oyster Inn' (Blue Building) follow signs to Fort William. Once over metal suspension bridge take 1st right signposted BONAWE. Continue down this single track for 6 miles, once you reach intersection signposted Barcaldine continue, Blarcreen is 1/2 mile further on right
