Accommodation
Description:
From: £90.00 Barley Bree is the perfect place to stop for lunch on a day out from Edinburgh or Glasgow. Enjoy a meal by the wood burning stove in winter or on our sunny terrace in summer. Should you feel inclined, stay over in one of our comfortable rooms and enjoy a truly memorable dinner in the relaxed atmosphere of our old coaching inn We serve good seasonal food with a great selection of wine. We have six comfortable rooms which have recently been refurbished to a high standard. Given that seasonality and the sourcing of good local produce is the current trend, chef /owner, Fabrice Bouteloup at Barley Bree changes the menus every week in order to reflect the changing seasons. We use as many local suppliers as possible taking advantage of all Perthshire has to offer – wild garlic and chanterelles in season, delicious soft fruits through the summer, root vegetables, beef, lamb, freshwater fish….the list goes on The shooting season also brings an abundance of game: venison, pheasant, wood pigeon and partridge all feature on our menus at various times of the year. Although our sample menus do not include vegetarian dishes, we can and do provide vegetarian meals. Please note restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays though an evening meal may be provided by prior arrangement Accommodation Rating:
