Pitmedden Garden
Pitmedden, Grampian
Formal garden with elaborate floral designs, first created in the 17th century. The formal garden is best visited in July and August when 30-40,000 annuals are in bloom. Herb and wildlife gardens. Woodland walk and nature trail where rare breeds of livestock or endangered species can be viewed. Museum of Farming Life on the 100-acre estate has implements, artifacts and domestic utensils.
