We had the pleasure of visiting here, and our information is based on our personal experiences  

Pitmedden Garden The historic gardens at Pitmedden date to 1675 and were established by Sir Alexander Seton, Lord Advocate under Charles II. Seton wanted a garden that carried on the fashionable formal style made famous at Versailles in France and echoed in Scotland at Kinross House, near Loch Leven.

Pitmuies Gardens A pair of historic walled gardens beside an 18th century country house. The garden features delphinium borders, old roses, and a variety of perennial blossoms sheltered by trimmed yew hedges.

 Threave Garden
We had the pleasure of visiting here, and our information is based on our personal experiences We took some photos of this location that we'd like to share with you  

Threave Garden A colourful 64 acre garden surrounds a Victorian stately home on the edge of Castle Douglas. The house is open tovisitors, as is the 1500 acre estate, with miles of walking trails and a wildfowl sanctuary. At the heart of the Threave Garden is the ornamental gardens close to the mansion. Here you will find over 200 varieties of daffodils, herbaceous beds, a heather garden, and a wide variety of trees.
