Under a modern shelter at Kilberry, on the west coast of Knapdale, are a collection of grave slabs and carved crosses gathered over the years from various places around the Kilberry estate. Most were carved from locally quarried stones and were used at a burial ground near the castle.

This modern museum lies on the A865 about 7 miles from Lochboisdale. The museum is only part of a small complex of buildings which include a cafe, craft shop for local artisans, and a cultural centre. Much of the museum collection was drawn together by Father John Morrison, the local parish priest of Iochdar during the 1950s and 60s.

An unrestored traditional Orkney longhouse, dating to at least the 16th century. A stone bed, tradtional household furnishings, farm implements, and artefacts of daily life provide a fascinating glimpse of daily life in Orkney over the past centuries. A central hearth, burning peat, provides warmth for the longhouse, and there is a lovely Victorian garden outside. Recommended.
